Account Executive – Radio & Digital Advertising Sales
McKenzie River Broadcasting | Eugene/Springfield, Oregon
McKenzie River Broadcasting, a locally owned and operated radio group, is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Account Executive to join our sales team. You’ll represent 93.3 KKNU, 94.5 KMGE, 105.5 KEUG and 97.7 KEQB, along with digital, promotional and sponsorship marketing solutions.
Our Account Executives work with local businesses to understand their goals and create effective advertising campaigns that help them grow.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals and community involvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners and decision-makers.
- Meet with clients to identify their marketing needs and business goals.
- Create customized campaigns utilizing radio, digital advertising, promotions, sponsorships and events.
- Prepare and present advertising proposals and marketing recommendations.
- Manage and grow existing accounts while continually developing new business.
- Work with programming, promotions and creative teams to execute successful campaigns.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward revenue goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized and comfortable developing new business.
- A consultative approach to sales and problem-solving.
- Previous sales, marketing or media experience is preferred, but we’re open to candidates with strong sales potential and a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of the Eugene/Springfield business community is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing.
